Search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 set to commence searching ex: RAAF Pearce & Perth Airports

The search for missing Malaysia Airlines B777-2H6 (ER) 9M-MRO shifts to RAAF Pearce (YPEA) Western Australia, with the re-deployment of searching aircraft re-positioning today to the WA airbase & Perth Airport.

US Navy P-8A Poseidon 168429 arrived today at 14.25hrs landing RWY21 as flight MY002 ex: Subang Airport (WMSA) landing RWY21 & departed at 06.35hrs 19/03 as 'Rescue 74' on first search of Indian Ocean for any signs of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
RNZAF P-3 Orion NZ4203 arrived today as flight KRC795 ex: RMAF Butterworth (WMKB) Malaysia Landing RWY18L RAAF Pearce (YPEA).
RNZAF P-3 Orion NZ4204 arrived today as flight Kiwi 27 ex: RNZAF Whenuapai (NZWP) New Zealand landing RWY18L RAAF Pearce (YPEA).
 
Also participating in the search are up to 4 RAAF AP-3C Orion's, and 1 C-130J Hercules A97-448 arriving ex: YSRI & YPED. 
 
Other RAAF aircraft noted in & around Perth today were C-17A Globemaster iii A41-208 &; B737-7ES Wedgetail A30-005 both of which were in & out.
