Virgin Australia B737-7FE (W) VH-VBZ msn 34322 named 'Mali Blue' arrived 08.45hrs ex: Melbourne (YMML) as flight 'VOZ9927' & departed at 10.40hrs to Cocos Keeling Island (YPCC) as flight 'VOZ9817'. It is believed that a shortage of fuel on the island is requiring aircraft capable of flying in & out at presently without the requirement of being refueled, hence B737 aircraft inlieu of Embraer 190 equipment.
