Royal Brunei Airlines suspends Perth from 29th October 2011





Royal Brunei Airlines commenced services to Perth from Bandar Seri Bagwan on 29th January 1991with the inugural service operated by B757-2M6 V8-RBB msn 23453.

On July 3rd 1992 services were upgraded to B762 service, with V8-RBD operating this service.

October 29th 2000, saw the airline increase services to three times per week.

On February 25th 2004, the airlines first A320 visited Perth, V8-RBS was the aircraft, with Airbus A319 arriving a month later on March 3rd, on this occassion operapted by V8-RBP.

The airlines first B772 visited Perth on 9th October 2010, when V8-BLB msn 30872 ex: 9V-SVG visited for the first time.

Its with great disappointment to report to you all that effective 29th October 2011, Royal Brunei Airlines services to Perth, Western Australia will come to an end.

Auckland, Brisbane, Kuching, and Ho Chi Minh destinations have also been withdrawn, with Royal Brunei services only to Melbourne with a 4 times weekly service, but is always subject to change.
